Workshop on Climate change and vegetation biodiversity

The PASTORALP project was invited to take part as experts to a workshop on the topic “Climate Change and vegetation biodiversity” organized by Piemonte region, with the support of ARPA and the University of Turin. This workshop wantes to address a Strategy to climaye change promoted by the Piemonte Region so as to activate a systematic and integrated pathway to reduce natural and socio-economic systems vulnerability to Climate Change and increase resilience.

After some introductive presentations, the participants were split in three subgroup, to discuss on the main effects of Cimate Change on biodiversity and proposing feasible adaptation strategies.

The indications resulting from the discussions will address the Regional Strategy on Climate Change.
